Please see the following message from Principal Adam Moore
Dear Fundy Families,
These are unprecedented times indeed. I hope that you have been able to connect with your family and find some peace over these last few days. I know there are many un-knowns right now, but I also know this season will pass. In the meantime, I fully support all efforts to contain this virus and “flatten the curve.” Self-isolation, social distancing, proper hand-washing etc. are tangible things we can all do to protect our most vulnerable and reduce the pressure on our hospitals and medical professionals. On the upside…this might be a great time to read that book that has been sitting on the shelf or pick up the instrument that has been gathering dust!
As you know, there have been recent announcements around classes being suspended indefinitely and the banning of large group gatherings. Our district is currently formulating plans to address continued learning and will be communicating these plans in the coming weeks. Please visit our website in order to read the latest update from the ministry: https://lfmss.sd35.bc.ca
In the meantime, we feel it is necessary to postpone our musical, Frozen Jr., that was meant to be performed in late April and early May. We know that this is disappointing for students and staff, given how hard they have worked to put this show on. We will be communicating information related to ticket refunds after we have had an opportunity to talk with our ticket seller. Our plan is to postpone the performance to a later date and we will have more information to share as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and support.
