Virtual Presentations – UBC Faculty of Medicine
The University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Medicine is excited to announce the launch of their new Medical Student Outreach Ambassador Program. The Faculty of Medicine plays a pivotal role in selecting and training medical doctors in British Columbia and they are hoping you will partner with them to help better inform your students regarding a possible future career in medicine.
UBC medical students can provide 30-60 minute presentations to your high school students, depending on your school’s availability. This can be done in their Career Education classes, or other similar programs. UBC is also particularly interested in presenting to students who may come from backgrounds that may be traditionally underrepresented in medicine. All presentations are currently virtual due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
To view brochure, student videos and get more information, go to: UBC MD Ambassador Outreach Program.
Please contact them to host a UBC Medical Student Outreach Ambassador presentation at your school by registering online.
